Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony of Montessori students (KG II) was held on 7 March 2026, celebrating the joyful journey and holistic development of young learners. The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Dr. Onkush Verma, Psychologist and Senior Counsellor, followed by Guru Vandana. In her address, she spoke about different styles of parenting, the vital role of parents during the foundational stage, and the significance of the 7–7–7 parenting formula in nurturing balanced children. The highlight of the event was the Graduation Walk, where the young graduates proudly received their certificates, marking their successful completion of KG II and their readiness to step into Class I.

Inter SPS Spellathon Competition 2025–26

The Inter SPS Spellathon Competition 2025–26 was successfully organised on Saturday, 31 January 2026, at Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, with enthusiastic participation from students of Classes I to V. The competition aimed to strengthen spelling skills, enrich vocabulary, and build confidence through engaging and age-appropriate activities. The event was conducted in two groups. Group I (Classes I & II) included rounds such as Dictathon, Sound Starter, Spell Shuffle, Buzz the Clue, and SPELL WORDSMITH, focusing on listening skills and spelling accuracy. Group II (Classes III–V) featured Word Whirl, Pick-a-Boo, Bee Sting, and SPELL WORDSMITH, assessing higher-order thinking and subject integration from English, Mathematics, and EVS. Group I (Classes I & II), Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar emerged as the Winner, followed by Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham as Runner-up, while the SPELL WORDSMITH title was secured by Atharv Kumar from Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. Group II (Classes III- V), Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar won the competition, with Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar as Runner-up, and Agrima Jangid from Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar clinching the SPELL WORDSMITH title. 77th Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour and Grandeur

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic zeal and dignity on 26 January 2026. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Honorable Chief Guest, Brigadier S. B. Singh, Madam Principal, Ms Alpa Prabhu along with honorable dignitaries, followed by the national anthem and Guard of Honor. In his address, the Chief Guest motivated students to embrace nationalism, take pride in being Indian, understand the nation’s history, choose careers aligned with their passion, adopt inspiring role models, and set achievable goals. The four houses presented traditional folk dances of various regions through Nrityollas, where Arawali House emerged as the Winner and the Runners-up Trophy was bagged by Himachal House. Classes with maximum attendance were acknowledged and appreciated. The event concluded with the felicitation of support staff members for their dedicated service of 5, 10 and 20 years, leaving an atmosphere of pride, gratitude, and unity.

National Youth Day Celebration

National Youth Day was celebrated with great zeal on 12 January 2026. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, “Take care of your body; it is the only place you have to live,” the celebration featured a graceful yoga presentation by the students. The programme included a well-coordinated sequence of yoga asanas, pranayama, and the complete set of twelve Surya Namaskar postures, performed with dedication and synchronization. Dr. G S Grewal inspire future Accountants

An ASPIRE session titled “Concept to Clarity in Accountancy” was conducted on 18 December 2025 with CA Dr. G. S. Grewal as the Guest Speaker. A renowned author and pracademic, Dr. Grewal guided students towards a deeper understanding of core accountancy concepts by linking theory with practical application. He stressed the importance of conceptual clarity over rote learning and encouraged students to question the logic behind accounting principles. Interactive Q&A sessions enabled students to clarify doubts and gain insights into examination preparation and career prospects in commerce. The session was attended by students of Classes XI and XII Commerce from various SPS branches and was highly appreciated.

Parent Orientation for class X

An Orientation Programme for the parents of Class X was held on 15 November 2025 with the objective of guiding them as students move towards their Pre-Board examinations. Madam Principal, Ms Alpa Prabhu, and Madam Vice Principal, Ms Ritisha Gupta addressed the gathering and highlighted the academic roadmap and expectations for the year. The programme covered key areas including effective exam preparation strategies, Class XI admission criteria, stream selection, academic scholarships and various career pathways. Ms Sayyeda Azam, Section Supervisor (XI-XII) briefed the parents about career options in Commerce, while Dr. Indu Singh, School Counsellor, shared insights on new-age career opportunities in Humanities. The event aimed to instill values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among young learners. The occasion was graced by Dr Jaishree Kanwar, Director, and Ms Mridu P. Saxena as the Chief Guests. The programme began with a warm Welcome Address, followed by Flag Unfurling and a Yoga Demonstration by Class III students, setting an inspiring tone.
