On June 26, 2024, Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, organized a Creative Writing Competition for students of Classes IV to XII. The event aimed to encourage innovative and creative thinking, providing a platform for students to articulate their thoughts through writing. Students across different grades engaged in various writing tasks. Students of Classes IV and V were given open-ended topics like “What I want to do for my family?” and “Who I will be in the future and what will I do to make the world a better place?” Students of Classes VI to XII participated in tasks ranging from paragraph writing and diary entries to story writing and creative prose, covering genres like mystery, fantasy and science fiction. The competition helped students enhance their writing skills, fostered creativity and encouraged expressive thinking. It spurred critical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing participants to brainstorm and develop unique ideas. The event was a resounding success, reflecting students' enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and excel.
