19th Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony

Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example. It is not about being in control, but about inspiring others to unleash their full potential. Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal, celebrated its 19th Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony on 1st July, 2023. Prior to the ceremony, the students participated in the "Joy of Giving" activity, visiting an orphanage and interacting with the children spreading love and kindness. Sagarites have collected daily essentials and donated to the children who needed them. The Investiture Ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest of the day, Brigadier Rohit Chalapathy, Senior Mentors, and Parents. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful performance by the choir. The Principal administered the oath to the student council members, emphasizing the motto of 'learning through involvement' and encouraging their sincere dedication. The ceremony also honoured academic achievers and national winners in Performing Arts. The Chief Guest anointed badges to the student council office bearers and emphasized the importance of discipline for the students and encouraged them to maintain a disciplined approach in their academic and personal lives. Additionally, he urged the teachers to be innovative in their teaching methods, fostering an environment of creativity and continuous learning. The cultural program showcased motivational songs and mesmerizing dances, and the school cabinet planted saplings for a greener future. The presence of school alumni added significance, as they shared success stories and valuable tips with their juniors. As a symbolic gesture towards a cleaner and greener India, parents were offered saplings, symbolizing a promise to contribute towards a sustainable environment. The Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony at Sagar Public School fostered a sense of community, responsibility and environmental consciousness that will continue to resonate throughout the school.
