Summer Camp

Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, kick-started its summer camp on 1 May 2025, offering students a vibrant blend of learning and fun. Celebrating Young Talent Musical Concord

The Inter-House Musical Concord for Classes VI to VIII was a vibrant showcase of musical creativity and teamwork. Judges Mr. Dushyant Kumar, a seasoned rhythmist, and Mr. Vinayak Mishra, a talented alumnus, graced the event. Arawali, Himachal, Satpura, and Vindhyachal Houses delivered captivating performances that enthralled the audience. A special musical act by the judges added to the excitement. Career Counselling session for Classes XI & XII

“Opportunities don't happen. You create them.” – Chris Grosser\r\nTo empower students with knowledge about business careers, an insightful Career Counselling session titled "BBA and Beyond" was held on 25 April 2025 for Classes XI and XII (Commerce). Led by Career Counsellor Mr Sohail Mateen, the session explored BBA specializations like Finance, Marketing, HR, and Entrepreneurship, along with alternate programs like B.Sc Finance and Business Analytics. Students learned about top colleges, admission processes, and entrance exam preparation. Emphasis was laid on internships and research projects, highlighting their role in building strong resumes and ensuring career readiness.

Speak to Lead : Personality Development and Public Speaking workshop session

"The art of communication is the language of leadership." \r\nA Personality Development and Public Speaking workshop was held for Classes VI to VIII on 24 April 2025, aiming to build confidence and communication skills. The session, conducted by Mr. Aviral Pawar, Founder of Bharat Storyteller, began with an energizing ice-breaker and covered key aspects like impromptu speaking, overcoming glossophobia, and the five essentials of public speaking—stage presence, eye contact, structure, gestures, and vocal variety. Sagarites learned how to hook an audience, deliver focused messages, and conclude with impact. Emphasis was placed on body language, positive attitude, and clarity. A storytelling activity was also conducted, where students drew what they resonated with most in the story, making the experience both expressive and memorable.

"The Earth is what we all have in common."\r\nOn 22 April 2025, Sagarites celebrated Earth Day with vibrant enthusiasm and creativity. Through expressive paintings and impactful slogans, they voiced their concerns for the planet and called for urgent environmental action. Their artwork beautifully captured the essence of nature and the need to protect it. The celebration was a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to safeguard Earth’s future. It encouraged students to reflect, act, and inspire others to contribute toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world.

Orientation Programme for Class XII

"Education is the most powerful tool we can use to shape not just futures, but the world itself."\r\nThe Class XII Orientation Programme, held on 17 April 2025, was a purposeful gathering of parents, teachers, and students to align visions for the year ahead. Madam Principal, Ms Alpa Prabhu set the tone with her inspiring address, emphasizing academic excellence, faculty support, and scholarship opportunities. Supervisor (XI-XII) Ms Sayyeda Azam, elaborated on school rules, academics, and assessment policies, highlighting the importance of regularity and parental involvement. Counselor, Dr. Indu Singh guided parents on focused self-study, NCERT-based preparation, and healthy habits. The session concluded with a unified commitment to holistic growth, student well-being, and meaningful academic achievement.

D.E.A.R : Drop Everything And Read Activity was conducted for Classes Nursery to VIII

“Books are the mirrors of the soul.”\r\nWith this vision, D.E.A.R. Day was celebrated on 12 April 2025 to mark the birthday of renowned author Beverly Cleary. Students and teachers from Classes Nursery to VIII participated wholeheartedly, dedicating 30 minutes to uninterrupted reading, which nurtured a genuine love for books. The collective involvement highlighted that reading is important for everyone, regardless of age. This meaningful activity aimed to build regular reading habits, enhance vocabulary, improve comprehension, and support emotional well-being. The celebration successfully fostered a positive reading culture across the school, encouraging both students and teachers to embrace reading as a lifelong journey.
