ASPIRE session by the Youngest Investment Banker - Appalla Saikiran

Science Week for Classes VI to IX

"Science is not only a disciple of reason, but, also, one of romance and passion." – Stephen Hawking\r\nFrom 28 July 2025 to 1 August 2025, Science Week, for classes VI to IX, was a celebration of innovation, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Students enthusiastically showcased models on topics such as light, electricity, magnetism, hydraulic bridges, atmospheric pressure, and DNA barcoding. Presentations on International Tiger Day, NASA’s establishment, and the roles of the Oil and Sugar Boards added real-world relevance. A science quiz further engaged young minds. The week successfully promoted scientific thinking and helped students connect classroom concepts to everyday applications through creativity and exploration.

ASPIRE Session: Honouring India’s Mathematical Legacy from Aryabhata to Innovation

Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe.” — Galileo Galilei\r\nAn enlightening Aspire Talk was held on 26 July 2025 on the topic “Indian Knowledge System in Mathematics.” The session was conducted by Mr.Lokendra Singh Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Science and Mathematics, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal as the keynote speaker. \r\nHe highlighted the contributions of ancient Indian scholars, especially Aryabhata, covering the origin of zero, the place-value system, and time measurement. Concepts like Aryabhatiya, equinox, zodiac signs, AM/PM system, eclipses, and the Katapayadi system were explored. He urged students to focus not only on the injustices of British rule but also to take pride in the remarkable achievements of India’s historians and scholars. The talk concluded by emphasizing the importance of mathematical modelling and simulations in addressing real-world challenges, inspiring students to appreciate India's intellectual heritage.

ASPIRE talk by the City rank holders of SPS Gandhi Nagar sharing their success mantra

“When students inspire each other, learning becomes a shared journey. As part of the 21st Foundation Day celebration on 1 July 2025, an impactful ASPIRE Talk was organised by the students of Classes X, XI, and XII with the aim of guiding their juniors on how to aspire for a successful board journey. Shrutika Jain, with 99.4% in Class XII Humanities, emerged as the All India Rank 2 as well as State Topper and shared how the school shaped her journey. Joining her as mentors were Anika Srivastava, Sunaina, Aditi Pandey, Tejaswini Goud and Kavya Jaiswal- the City Rank Holders. These outstanding achievers shared their journeys with honesty, clarity, and purpose offering sincere and insightful accounts of their academic journeys. Shrutika, All India Rank 2, spoke about how she overcame procrastination through planning and the power of consistent self-study. These meritorious students emphasized the importance of regular revision, mock practice, teacher guidance, and staying focused amidst distractions. Their real-life strategies, relatable challenges, and heartfelt advice deeply resonated with the Sagarites. The session not only equipped the students with practical tools but also lit a fire of ambition, proving that when peers lead by example, they leave behind a path worth following.

21st Foundation Day Celebration & Investiture Ceremony at @ SPS Gandhi Nagar

The 21st Foundation Day was celebrated on 1 July 2025 with pride and enthusiasm, marked by a solemn and empowering Investiture Ceremony. The event honoured the newly elected student cabinet, symbolizing the spirit of leadership, accountability, and service. The ceremony was graced by Brigadier Manoj Kumar Ruria as the Chief Guest, who formally presented badges and sashes to the young leaders. His inspiring address encouraged students to lead with purpose, discipline, and integrity. Students from Classes VI to X cheered with excitement as their peers stepped into leadership roles. A vibrant cultural programme featuring dance and musical performances added joy and colour to the occasion, celebrating the school’s rich legacy. To acknowledge academic excellence, scholarships worth over ₹20 lakhs were awarded to meritorious students of Class X, XI and XII (session 2024–25). A session titled Unlocking Potential with Mental Health and Wellbeing was conducted for Integrated Classes X–XII from 20 June 2025 to 23 June 2025 by Dr. Indu Singh, expert in Psychological and Social Wellbeing. She emphasized the impact of mental health on academic success, highlighting the need for balanced nutrition, quality sleep, and the dangers of dopamine hijack from excessive social media use. Red Flags like irregular sleep patterns, emotional outbursts, and digital overload were discussed as early signs of mental fatigue. Green Flags such as self-awareness, consistent routines, and mindful screen time were encouraged as indicators of good mental health.\r\n\r\nStudents were encouraged to take mindful breaks like pranayam, meditation, and light chores. The session also covered stress management, time planning, memory techniques, and the power of affirmations. It left students informed, focused, and inspired for holistic growth.
