Independence Day Celebration

"Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially.'' said Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. 

It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got freedom on August 15th 1947 and is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm every year. 

SPSGN celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with great enthusiasm, the programme started with unfurling of the national flag by Principal Dr.Jaishree Kanwar. Madam Principal advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country and develop virtues like honesty, truth, secularism, and spiritualism and inspired them to be better every day. 

The day marked so many cultural programmes like Patriotic song, dance, and speech by students. A Dance drama “The incredible India’ was performed by the students that portrayed the versatility of our culture. Children showed great enthusiasm and day marked huge attendance of all the students.
